The Hotel Hafen Hamburg is a 4-star hotel located in Sankt Pauli, in the city centre of Hamburg. For more than 25 years the privately owned and managed hotel above the harbour of Hamburg is well known for its individual service and its special ambience. Originally built as Hamburg’s seafarer’s home in 1864 it reopened as hotel in 1979 with only 80 rooms. It is justly considered the most hanseatic and maritime hotel in Hamburg. In 1987 a tower with its famous Tower Bar on the top floor was constructed and since 1995 the hotel is completed by the so called Officer’s Residenz. The whole complex now offers a total of 353 guest rooms. All guest rooms are equipped with direct dial telephone with voice mail, mini-bar, desk, room safe, cable and pay TV. Most rooms provide high-speed Internet access. Furthermore all guests are welcome to use the hotel's business centre as well as the WLAN in both lobbies. The Hotel Hafen Hamburg combines authentic and romantic maritime charm with modern and contemporary design, creating a very special ambiance.
